Fix the problems
Fifty Floor - Spent $5k to decrease my homes value!
This company is as sleazy as it gets! The way their contact is worded...their installers can completely ruin every base board in your house and they are not liable, even if it is clearly blatant
negligence on the installer's part.
You will be left to float the bill. Once you sign your contract you will never hear from the sales person again, so ask your questions while they are still standing there! The flooring will click and clack under your every step, but they won't care about that either.
They will "rip up your
existing quarter round and replace with new" but what they don't tell you is the new quarter round will only be primed and unpainted, so you will have to float that bill as well. READ the fine print exceptionally well because there are many things this company can get away with destroying, and they truly do not care!
Issues with the floor from day one
Floor is squeaking now. After they fixed it before
Over all good service and good installation. But I had an issues with part of the installation. Then everything went downhill.
I am having issues getting someone to address my issues with an install that happened June 26th. I reached out and had an appointment scheduled for July 3rd.
There was no call and no show for the person that was scheduled to come back out to address the issue. It is now 7.8.2020 and I have not had anyone call me back after the several messages I have left.
This is unacceptable. I have been patient but I need a resolution today.
- Floor is beautiful but the lack of trim work ruins the look
Someone come out and fix the issue. I would like an apology for the run around i am having trying to get this resolved.
Nightmare
Hired this company to put down hardwood floors for me a disaster. The job was supposed to start on the 29th so let's begin with the story two of their workers came out and stated we are just dropping off the wood today and will be back tomorrow.
Ok second day came was to arrive at 8am no showed up so at 8:30 here come the so-called Supervisor by the name of Mike stated he was here because the two guys never showed up. So here he comes with some guys that it looked like he picked them up from a corner somewhere. Just saying stay away from this company.
Two day jobs turned in to a week. Had to hire another company to get my house back together.
Fifty Floor - Terrible Experience
If I could give 5 negative stars I would. I spent $7000+ to have a terrible product installed. The new super tough - no scratch laminate flooring was supposed to be the Best - Its the Worst!!!
Now 50 Floor wont stand behind the product they installed!!! Im now stuck with a crap floor for years to come.
If you want to be disappointed- hire 50 Floor!
Richard
Update: So it seems if we dont walk on the floor or put normal furniture on the floor - it will look beautiful and not show any wear.
Thank goodness the manager came over and helped us so much. I guess well just live in another house so the floor that 50 Floor told us would be so great and durable wont get any worse.
Trust me - Im going to have to redo this floor and it sure as *** wont be with 50 Floor!
50 Floor - The Company that DOESNT stand behind their work.
Thanks so much for screwing me out of $7000.

Fifty Floor - Great Experience
We live in Dallas. We have just had 50 Floor re carpet five large rooms and they could not have been better.
Our sales person, Kathy Hammons called ahead to find out what were requiring and brought appropriate samples to the house (wearing a mask). She measured all the rooms, we chose a style we liked, and she worked out a quote on the spot. Lead time to get the carpet to them was about 4 days. We scheduled installation for a week later.
The 4 man install team led by Juan was on time and completed the job including the clean-up and haul off in no time.
There was no damage to skirting boards anywhere.
We got a quote from Home Depot too but their process was so complicated, involving phone calls to departments that were difficult to reach that the obvious choice was 50 Floor. I recommend them.
Bait and switch
I had laminate flooring installed which the salesman said i should get the waterproof one which i agreed even though it was more expensive but we have 2 small dogs and know they would eventually have a accident at sometime. Well they did and the floor started to buckle i was shocked it did that so we called and the lady was very nice and said they would come out and replace the 3 boards.
Then the day before she called and said i didn't buy the waterproof laminate. So i check my bill and no where on My receipt did it say what kind of laminate i bought it only said laminate.
That's Bait And Switch. Would not recommend 50 floors to anyone...

Worst experience ever no one keeps their word
Thanks for the $150.00 refund check Joe. It was awesome to know after you talked with me that everything I said fell on deaf ears.

Verified ReviewerFifty Floor - Unprofessional Customer Service
The installation process was a NIGHTMARE. Fortunately on the positive side of that they made it right. It took what I would consider a excessive amount of time for it to happen, but it was attempted to be made right eventually. The longevity of the work remains to be seen, we are only 8 months in after having our complete house redone with waterproof laminate and carpet.
However, if you feel most of your decision for remodeling/upgrading your house is made with good customer service in mind , I would steer VERY clear of this company. Whatever money they saved me was not worth dealing with the below average and defensive customer service they provide. That goes from installation employees all the way up to the General Manger (whose name is Ron in case its necessary to know).
Ive always been willing to pay a premium to feel good about a job (or request) that I hire out for a professional to deal with. Customer Service goes a LONG way with me. I also tend to deal only with companies or businesses that get recommended to me by friends (or family)
After my experience with 50 Floors, i will need to re-evaluate those stances. I will do my best to make sure no one has to deal with the issues I had to deal with while looking for flooring or carpet. Thanks for your time in reading this
- Customer service
An apology for unprofessional conduct from Ron the general Manager to my wife. Look into outside sourcing out a customer service class for better training for ALL employees. Not only with subordinates but leadership and executive staff

Verified Reviewer |Fifty Floor - Never ever again
Well, our Saga with 50Floor is finally OVER! It took them an additional 69 days and 6 more trips out to our house to provide the finished product that their Salesmen sold to us. After dealing with the local Garner office with little progress (if they even called back) I had to run this up the chain at the corporate office. After finally getting the corporate office to agree to make repairs to their sub-par install they first tried to hit me with what I believe to be an illegal *** order trying to silence my reviews of them and remove past reviews. This type of speech is protected by the Consumer Protection act of 2010. The full text of this *** order can be seen here (https://s3-media0.fl.yelpcdn.com/saphoto/p3FoI895rR2q98w5_w6jYg/o.jpg)
I think the photos should speak for themselves, this is the job they said was complete. This level of pride was a joke, they did very little right except show up at the right house...3 days late!. Management had a "Not my problem" attitude and that's if they ever call you back. This entire process has been a joke, but hey they got their money so why should they care about the end product. The floor was installed outside of manufacturer's specifications (which would void any manufactures warranty), Large gaps left on baseboards and quarter round, calking not down around door frames. This was far from the process we were sold by their salesman and far from the job we paid for (I would expect more from a Craigslist install)
After countless hours on the phone and taking off work to have meetings with 50floor or to have workers at my house all they were willing to offer us was 9.5% off the final bill.
In closing, I am happy with the final product, the LVP is beautiful and the install was finally done correctly. That being said I would never allow someone from 50floor to do a job for me again and cannot recommend this company to anyone.

Verified ReviewerFifty Floor - Never Again
The initial sales call was excellent. The installation went well.
The in-between, not so well and the reason I can NOT recommend 50 Floor. I was scheduled for a Fri/Sat installation. Late Friday morning I was contacted and told the crew would not arrive due to a mechanical breakdown but would be at my home Saturday afternoon. Late Saturday morning I received a call that the crew would be assigned Sunday morning to prepare the area I needed finished to meet another project deadline.
Since I had wasted a vacation day and declined a Saturday shift, A friend and I removed all the old flooring and prepared the sub floor. My full floor was installed due to this preparation work but the crew would have to return to install the 1/4 round. Again, not wanting to waste any additional vacation time, I recruited some friends to install the 1/4 round. My compensation from 50 Floor did not nearly cover my/our labor and my time lost at work.
I spoke with a number of competitors and the military discount was my final determining factor. I have three rooms of carpet to install - I will purchase the materials and hire a reputable installer.
No more "one stop shopping" and certainly NOT from 50 Floor. They talk a great game but do not fully deliver.
Refund $300.00 for labor, lost wages and the downright aggravation of being told another crew was working a Sunday so I could meet my remodel deadline but it was the same crew assigned from the beginning.

Verified ReviewerSexually harassed and they refuse to course correct
A salesman came to my home. Said highly offensive and sexually harassing commentaries to me in my home.
Touched my arm to feel My muscles without my consent. This company has refused to take responsibility for what I had to deal with. Now resulting in legal action.
Charlene Anthony said the company would not do anything to resolve this matter. Very disappointing that a WOMAN would not assist another woman who dealt with this.
- Poor customer service

Fifty Floor - Disappointed
We hired 50 Floor because the free in-home estimate went so well. The man that came out was very kind, honest, and professional.
We had 3 companies come out for estimates, one that gave an estimate much higher than 50 Floors, and one that gave an estimate quite a bit lower. But we went with 50 Floors bc they gave us the best vibe of the 3 companies. Well, to our surprise, it was a horrible experience. I hired this company two months ago in October, 2019 to replace our floors.
The day they started the project, thing after thing went wrong. They left their trash all over our front porch. They tried to leave the material outside over night when it was going to rain.... they went threw our belongings, without permission, found random paint- and slapped it all over our freshly painted walls- a color that didn't match at all and when I asked what happened all I got was attitude and "I was just trying to fix it"....
um what??????? They threw away hardwood material that I had move out of their way and specifically told them to not throw out, yet they did anyway. They shattered our oven stove, implied they may not be liable to fix it (of course they had to bc they broke it) but not only that, then brought a cheap white stove when we have a flat top black and stainless steel stove... and then argued with me that the white one was fine, that they were doing me a favor bc it matched our fridge...
I have no words...It has now been almost two months, and we still have no stove. I called and asked for status this week (Dec.9th), they said they're working on it and it should be here soon. Oh! and they are compensating me a whole $100.00 dollars for the inconvenience… are you kidding?!?!?!?!
Just eating out all this time bc there's nothing to cook on alone is welllllll over $100 bucks … just wow. I am paying you guys 8k and this is the service we get... By the way, this is our very FIRST home. We JUST bought it.
And we picked you guys bc you said you'd have the floors finished before we ever even moved in.. in Oct. And here we are..December 12th, 2019 with an unfinished job and still no stove.
Thanks guys for the wonderful experience and customer service, really. I will make sure to recommend you.

THANK YOU. I'm glad I dodged that bullet. I hope you get a satisfying solution!
I had to turn away the Carpet when it arrived it was not the grade I saw by the sample I picked out. The Men who arrived had a Van that leaked oil on driveway.
I chose to send the Men and the carpet away. My home is in shambles because we moved everything to prepare for the installation.
I called 50 floor and spoke to a customer service person who will have someone call me in am.This best be handled with my deposit being refunded. To add to this I called the salesman BART with questions weeks before the installation, he never returned my call. I will let everyone know how this turns out with %) FLOOR
